CIWEST explained to the Mayor and others how the Aihoku Group been to Tanauan and introduced this project. We also explained them about the projects of CIWEST that aside from Day Care Centers Donation, there are also bigger projects that are plan to put up and one of these is the Waste Management System that Mr. Miyamoto had observed that Tanauan really needs. Not only the project will benefit Tanauan City but also its people, there will be more jobs offered as well as training opportunities in Japan for Filipinos under Aihoku Group of Companies.
The City Mayor understands the CIWEST's purpose of inviting private companies such as Aihoku Group to Tanauan but they just want to clarify the role of the government to the project in which Aihoku Group is offering. And willing to meet them again including Mr. Miyamoto to discuss more regarding these matters.
In addition, at first during the previous meetings and meeting with Atty. Trinidad that they expect that the discussion will be on ODA, that they truly need the system of Aihoku in Tanauan but it is so unfortunate that they don't have enough funds for that. They have fund allotted on how to diminish their waste products by contracting other private companies to dig up their waste and it's up to the contractor on where they will put those wastes they have gathered, this project by Aihoku Group is very new for them but a necessity for their Waste Management System. They also want to inform that they have not much fund for bigger projects such as this one so that they wish to have discussion more on how it will be feasible and soon be implemented. And certainly, it will be all understandable for the future meetings with the Tanauan City Government, with Mayor and other governing body.
Still Konsehal Eddie Burgos and Vice Mayor Platon not yet confirm their stand on this matter but I already inform them about, I am still waiting for their response letter as soon as I get it I will immediately inform it to your side, also we already made a letter to Governor Vilma Santos and we are waiting for their response when we can have meeting and discuss it to her office about project plan and proposal of Aihoku that can be helpful to one of her city/s and municipality/s.
AIHOKU GROUP OF COMPANIES later explained that they just need Philippines government's eagerness which garbage problem will be treated as soon as possible. Because they can't be the main project coordinator, they should be the supporter, a proxy for the government.
In addition to the system that they are developing in accordance to the Philippines needs and those which are locally available, they sent pictures of testing micro-organisms for disposal garbage. The garbage will disappear only 4 hours . Unfortunately, the Tanauan City government didn't realize the worth of this project for them.
