A former Chief-of-Staff of Congressman Koki Kobayashi now a Councilor of Chiba , Japan visited the Philippines once again. CIWEST Foundation, Inc. through Chairman TAKASHI MIYAMOTO supervised the said visitation the same with the past missions of Congressmen visitation here in the Philippines . With Councilor YUZURU NISHIDA's visitation are Mr. MASAHIRO KIKUCHI-President of Kikusho Kogyo , Mr. TATSUYA KAZAMA- Vice President of TOA Kogyo and Mr. YOSHIYUKI FUJIKAWA-Director of Fujikawa Sho-un .

As part of Chairman Miyamoto continuous support to Tanauan, Batangas waste management program, Councilor Nishida and the group of companies visited the “Dumpsite” that visited by the AIHOKU GROUP of Companies few weeks ago. Without distraction from the bad smell and muddy wet grounds they had decided to look into the place and see the system of collecting garbage here in the Philippines particularly in the area of Tanauan, Batangas. During their exploration, they had realized how unsystematic of collecting garbage and of the local government unit who cannot do anything about it this present time because of lack of support from the National government. During their visitation they had also seen some of the children and their parents collecting garbage from the dumpsite and to earn for a living, what they had collected they sell some of the re-usable waste to the junk shop owner or company. To this they had realized that less fortunate people in the Philippines are indeed helpless because of the lack of support from the government.

In the afternoon of the same date, a get together was conducted at the house of Mr. and Mrs. Miyamoto in Tanauan, Batangas wherein some of the government officials attended. Attendees are Mayor Danilo Sombrano and wife of MataasNaKahoy, Batangas, Mayor Alfredo Corona and wife , Vice Mayor Julius Caesar Platon II and Councilors of Tanauan Batangas headed by Counselor Ed Burgos . Former 5 th district of Manila Congressman Joey Hizon and wife Beth Hizon were also present. TESDA officials who are very supportive for the program of Skills and Technology Transfer Project (STTP) also attended lead by Deputy Director General for Field Operations- DDG Roger C. Peyuan and Ma'am Agripina Zafra, former Director General of TESDA now one of the member Sending Organization and President of Philippine Association of Sending Organization (PASO). One of the very special guests of that day also attended who is very dear to Mr. and Mrs. Miyamoto, a former Chairman of Commission on Election (COMELEC) Chairman BENJAMIN S. ABALOS .

They are all very grateful to have introduced each other and specially seeing Councilor NISHIDA once again after three years here in the Philippines . After their discussion, they are all motivated to improve the system by helping one another and to improve the relationship of Japan and Philippines further.
