SUBJECT: Omnibus Amendment to Department Order No. 6, series of 1994. Providing for the Policies and Implementing Rules and Regulations for the TESDA-JITCO Skills and Technology Transfer Project.

ON PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

As means of developing and providing appropriate skills development opportunities to its various beneficiaries, TESDA pursues the implementation of the TESDA-JITCO Skills and Technology Transfer Project as a cost effective training scheme in providing the necessary skills, technology and knowledge for the further development of the Filipino workforce, and local enterprises, harnessing the technology advances of developed economies through mutually beneficial arrangements. As such,

 

"NO FEES for any purpose or any form of monetarial solicitation direct or in-direct, from applicant-trainees shall be allowed except those that are explicitly stated as allowable under these guidelines."

 

The following are considered violations of the rules and regulations of TESDA-JITCO Skills and Technology Transfer Technology Transfer Project that may merit sanction/s and/or penalty/ies against SO/s when proven:

 

SOURCING AND SELECTION OF TRAINEE-APPLICANTS

  • To charge or accept, directly or indirectly, any amount from trainee-applicant/s, its agent or representative for purpose of the trainee/s documentation and/or deployment; as well as, no fee of any kind or form, directly or indirectly, shall be solicited from any attendee of an orientation session or from any person/worker aspiring to tender as application for training under the TESDA-JITCO Skills and Technology Transfer Project.
  • To publish/advertise invitation/s regarding training offer/s or manpower pooling for overseas training opportunity without the explicit approval of TESDA

 

DEPLOYMENT OF TRAINEES

Applicants selected for training deployment shall bear no direct cost/expense for preparatory activities, pre-departure activities, and in actual deployment for training in Japan
